Greenham Trust run a number of Appeals alongside our Projects and our now famous Challenges!
The Appeals usually are part of a national or even international issue which can have an affect in West Berkshire and North Hampshire, such as our very successful Coronavirus appeal, Laptops for lockdown and support for displaced Ukrainians and Afghans locally.
Cost of Living Community Fund North Hampshire:
Greenham Trust is partnering with Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council to provide additional assistance for residents in need or facing difficult financial situations due to rising energy prices and inflation. The joint scheme will be open to any not-for-profit community or voluntary sector organisation or group located and delivering services in the borough of Basingstoke and Deane.
Applications must be submitted via The Good Exchange portal by Tuesday 17 January and applicants must also complete and upload a copy of the Basingstoke & Deane application form. Click here for full details.
West Berkshire Emergency Cost of Living Crisis Fund:
Greenham Trust and West Berkshire Council are working in partnership to help charitable organisations; supporting people who are struggling to meet their daily living costs due to the rapid rise in inflation and energy costs. The fund is aimed at not-for-profit organisations in West Berkshire who should apply for funding through thegoodexchange.com.
Applications for funding will be reviewed on a regular basis. For further information please email julian.may@greenhamtrust.com.
Football for Fitness Fund:
A new initiative offering small grants of up to £1500 to encourage girls and women and people of all ages and abilities to get involved in informal, recreational football based activities. Click here to see the full eligibility criteria. Applications should be made through our on-line funding platform thegoodexchange.com indicating they are for the Football for Fitness Fund. The scheme is now open for applications which will be reviewed on a fortnightly basis.
Let’s Get Active Fund:
This joint initiative with West Berkshire Council aims to support physical activity projects in communities across West Berkshire. This funding scheme will be launching soon. More details about the application process will follow.
Ukrainian Appeal:
This fund is a joint initiative of West Berkshire Council and Greenham Trust. There is a £50,000 fund available for matching donations and grants to Ukrainian Appeal fund on The Good Exchange. Afghan Appeal:
An emergency working group has been set up with our local charity and statutory partners to support people arriving from Afghanistan and those that are now here. We have created this special appeal to help answer the immediate and longer term needs of people arriving from Afghanistan since the regime change and mass evacuation in August 2021. Funding is still available for those organisations who wish to apply.
