During Children’s Mental Health Week 1st – 7th February Sovereign Housing Association have been highlighting some the projects they’ve worked on with charity providers via the Good Exchange, which has increased the amount of funding available to groups across their geography.
In West Berkshire they put £5,000 towards ‘Time to Talk West Berkshire’, which, thanks to Greenham Trust match funding, four other funding partners and 68 public donors the sum raised for their fundraising appeal to offer one to one counselling sessions to young people increased to £29,999.95. This meant that every £1 donated by Sovereign was boosted to £5.
