Video Success Story – The Rosemary Appeal

The Rosemary Appeal

The Rosemary Appeal has successfully reached its fundraising goal of £5.5m for the new Greenham Trust Wing for advanced cancer care and renal dialysis at the West Berkshire Community Hospital. The Appeal has received support from many local grant-giving organisations that collaborated to offer grants and match funding via The Good Exchange’s charitable giving platform to help this vital fundraising project reach its target.

“There are hundreds of thousands of charities in this country all in competition for money and as a relatively small charity, we didn’t have a hope of competing with the national charities,” said Robert Tayton, Secretary, Newbury & Thatcham Hospital Building Trust. “By using The Good Exchange, we have received £1.84m from 1,039 public donations through the platform which were matched by grant funders including Greenham Trust and The Peter Baker Foundation), doubling the amount raised”.

Whilst The Rosemary Appeal has now reached its target, there are many more charitable fundraising projects looking for your support. To donate to, or fundraise for similar fundraising appeals visit our ‘Fundraising Projects Page‘.
