Video Success Story – National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society

This video case study looks into how the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS) gained access to new funders and match funding grants via The Good Exchange. A local business named them charity of the year and its employees undertook several fundraising activities. The money raised was donated via The Good Exchange and matched with a match funding grant from Greenham Trust, doubling the amount the business had raised. This enabled the NRAS to rapidly raise funds to maintain their free of charge telephone-based help-line for adults (and their relatives) who have Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) and the children (and parents) of children diagnosed with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA).

The match funding was a really big incentive for us because we had a really good relationship with our charity of the year business who were quite happy to pay the money they raised [from their employee’s fundraising activities] through The Good Exchange and that almost doubled the donation for us.” Helen Saich, Trust & Company Fundraiser
