‘Laptops for Lockdown Learning’ fund supporting home-schooling for underprivileged children

Greenham Trust’s Laptops for Lockdown Learning fund is open for applications from local schools in West Berkshire and north Hampshire that have disadvantaged children isolating at home due to ‘bubble’ exclusions.

Thanks to your incredible generosity to Greenham Trust’s appeal on The Good Exchange, the Laptops for Lockdown Learning campaign has already enabled 36 local primary and secondary schools to receive 1,202 laptops (an average of £6,800 per school) to loan to children in need during the lockdown.

  1. If your school is not already registered on the platform and wishes to apply for a grant to purchase laptops for disadvantaged children self-isolating at home, start your registration here
  2. If your school is registered but does not have a current, live application specifically for purchasing laptops for disadvantaged children self-isolating at home, please create a new project here

Follow these steps to check if your school has already registered on The Good Exchange and has a live fundraising project for laptops:

  • Type in the name of your school or a keyword from the school’s name
  • If your school appears in the search box then it has already been registered on the platform and you can log-in to the account and see if a COVID laptop fundraising project has already been created and if not, you can set-up a new fundraising project
